Our Process
At Habitat28, we’ve simplified the journey to owning a modular home. From design to installation, we collaborate closely with you and the independent third-party consultants and installers you choose to ensure a smooth and efficient process every step of the way.
If needed, we can connect you with approved third-party consultants who are highly experienced with our products. They can expedite the process of obtaining building permits, ensuring your unit is installed and connected to meet your site-specific and project-specific requirements.
Our goal is to make sure you’re ready to take the keys to your new Habitat28 Home as quickly and effortlessly as possible.

Select Your Model
Your journey to owning a Habitat28 home begins here! The first step is to confirm that your property meets the eligibility requirements for your desired unit, whether it is a primary or secondary dwelling, residential, commercial or multiplex. Once confirmed, you can select and customise the perfect model for your needs.
Place your initial deposit easily—either through our sales team or via our convenient online platform—and take the first step towards your new modular home.
Order and Design
Once you select your model, our Customer Services Advisor will schedule an appointment at our Discovery Center to finalize your order and design choices. You can choose from various add-ons like kitchen appliances at this time. You can chose from the different deposit structures and financing options at this time.
Manufacturing and Shipping
During the next 3-5 months your units will be custom manufactured and prepared to be shipped to your property. While the modular units are being built at the Habitat28 factory, homeowner’s selected independent architect will start the building permit application with your municipality and selected GC and installer shall coordinate with the homeowner installation and connection of the units on site.
